Keep & Enjoy the People You Hire!

Adding a new employee or virtual assistant is a huge investment. You invest your time looking at resume after resume then doing interview after interview. Those are billable hours that you can't get back.

You also invest mental energy and hope that this person will be the one to help you get more done and to grow your law firm.  When things don't work out- the new person joins then quits or never joins at all- it can be disappointing, hurtful and maybe even stop you from trying again.

That's why it's critical to have an Orientation & Onboarding plan to integrate your new team well. Get new hires engaged, motivated and up to speed so you can retain their services and benefit. No more disappointing and expensive quick quits for you.

The Intensive is a 3 hour workshop delivered online via Zoom designed to give you the skills, accountability and mentorship to onboard employees successfully.

You get a stepy-by-step process to identify what's most important to you and then convey that clearly to your new hires.  You get the templates to develop three tools you can use again and again to grow a smart, caring value-packed team that helps you run and grow your law firm.

You get more  confidence will soar because you'll know what you stand for and what you want from an employee.

You'll know how to create a great work relationship that encourages your new teammate to do their very best.  You'll be able to relax and focus what you need to do to scale to where you want.

What you get is a step-by-step process and the confidence to create your orientation and onboarding process and an opportunity to do that in real time with the help and advice of other lawyers.

Imagine this

As lawyers we are often motivated by fear, what won't get done, and that's okay. But you can also be motivated by the greatest pleasure, too (and isn't that a lot nicer to think about?)

Imagine sleeping in on Saturday snug in a warm blanket and relaxing because your teammate cleared the decks for you.

Imagine standing at the podium at your bar conference looking out over a full room of lawyers who are eager to hear your thoughts on an important topic that you were able to find time to write about because your teammate took over certain tasks.

Imagine knowing that you'll never have that hard, breath-stealing pit of anxiousness in the pit of your stomach again because you have the confidence and peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly how to bring someone into the culture of your law firm.

Running a business that helps others lead better lives should be joyous as well as profitable. having a smart, caring team who is loyal to you helps you enjoy that.

How Does It Work?

Your 3 Hour Interactive Workshop is on Sunday, March 31, 2019

8-11 am PT/ 2-5 pm ET

Who is this Workshop for?

Solo and Small Firm Owners who are

Hiring for the first time

Improving processes after a bad hiring experience

Onboarding current staff

First Step- Get Grounded

Your first step is preparation. You'll gather data.  Just like you create a first draft of a contract or brief, you'll create a first draft of your Firm Legend, items for orientation and the elements of your onboarding program.

You'll have an opportunity to pause and #beintentional about the experience you want your law firm to offer to teammates and yourself.

Second Step- Develop your Plan

Your second step is implementation. You'll meet with other like-minded lawyers and me (Dina Eisenberg) for a 3 hour interactive workshop called the Intensive.

You'll work on your own tools in real time. You'll also hear how others in the community are creating their programs and get expert advice on how to improve your program.

The goal is to expose you to new ideas, identify any gaps and eliminate any opportunities for misunderstand or confusion as you roll out your program

Third Step- Do it!

Third step is accountability. Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things. You'll be paired with other attendees to form an accountability circle. You'll also have email access to me (Dina) for 30 days to ask any questions and get feedback on documents or language.
